Hi,

Can anyone advise if it is possible to run a standalone beacon which is air-gapped from the main FNMS instance where it is possible to extract data to be imported into FNMS.

Thanks

Depends on your setup. We have an external beacon outside of our firewall that collects data for our Flexera One Cloud instance. If you have an on-premise installation of Flexera, you would need to open up your firewall to allow the beacon to report back inside of your firewall.

Hi, Thanks for the response - the important thing here is the beacon would need to be air-gapped - i.e. no connectivity at all to the main instance.

Our Beacon has no connection inside our firewall. We have Flexera One in the cloud, and so the beacon sends everything directly to the cloud.

For that case you can try my suggestion in following post to setup the beacon

At the end you have to find a way to copy all incoming files from that beacon to one of your other beacons or the FNMS Inventory server.
