does update service install work with dual boot machines?

hi ,

i've included the update service installation in my dev8 basic msi project. if i install my setup on a machine which has NT installed on the C Drive and Win2k installed on the D drive, i see the following problems, when booted into win2k.

the installation goes fine without any problems. Updateservice files are installed into D:\Program Files\...... correctly. However i create a shortcut to the updateservice dir, so that i can give users a way to check for updates from the start menus.
This shortcut is automatically created to C:\Programs Files\..., which naturally doesnt exist.

anyone seen this before?
