Install Shield X, Update Service 3.0 -> 2.2

We currently used the Install Shield X, Update Service 3.0 but we would like to try on the 2.2 (because of some strange bugs present in other thread).

I am unsure of what bugs you are referring to, but I was having a problem with the Update Manager being installed on client machines. InstallShield has provided a new SDK (version 3.2) that does not force the installation of the Udpate Manager. I called InstallShield tech support and they gave it to me.
