IS2009/InstallScript and FlexNet Connect Information
How do you integrate FlexNet Connect into a IS2009 InstallScript installation? I see KB Q200158 but I still need Product Signature and Product Lock codes from my project and IS2009 no longer has the Installation Information-->Update Service page in the project. Why was it made so much harder to integrate FlexNet Connect into the project???
The easiest way to acquire this information for now would be to create a Signature/Lock from the Basic MSI view and use those numbers. You would want to ensure you grab the DWUSLINK property's value and then you could pass that as part of your parameters to the merge modules per the KB article you linked.
I submitted Issue IOC-000077107 so we can take a look at this issue in a future release of the InstallShield product.
