When placing multiple items into the shopping cart and checking out, questions have been set to per order and not per item.
When placing multiple items into the shopping cart and checking out, questions have been set to per order and not per item.
When there are multiple catalog items with questions placed in the shopping cart, during checkout, the questions are per order and not per item.
Example:
If there are 3 catalog items added to the shopping cart (mouse, keyboard, headset) where each has been configured with a question that asks the quantity to order. When checking out there is only a single question asked for all 3 catalog items. If 10 mice, 1 keyboard and 3 headsets were required, the quantity received would be the answer given in the question as the question is not asked for each individual catalog item.
Please navigate to:
Admin > Catalog Management > Questions > Question Manager
Open the question that is being used, then please ensure the 'Focus' (highlighted below) has been changed to item specific rather than request specific.
This should then provide a question per item during checkout rather than for the entire request.
