Symptoms
When creating an Application Catalog using the Application Catalog Wizard in the AdminStudio Client tool, the following message may be seen:
Creating the application catalog...
User 'TestUser' does not have enough permissions to create the database 'SampleCatalog'
ERROR Unable to create the application catalog
Cause
The AdminStudio client tool checks if the user account that was specified in the Application Wizard catalog to connect to the database has dbcreator and the securityadmin Server Role permissions. If the account specified does not have those permissions then the application catalog is not created.
Resolution
To resolve the issue, please specify an account that has
dbcreator and the securityadmin Server Role permissions.Additional Information
