i am new to Productivity Optimiser and we are currently setting it up for software installs etc. is there a way in the store to add a request for a laptop?
i am new to productivity optimiser, and cant seem to work out how to add an store item for a laptop or other hardware device, with the usual fields asked for delivering kit... , and then have it go through approvals etc, and then possibly have an email or API call into the supplier to deliver the device

total newbie here, and ay help would be greatly appreciated

What is the correct way to add an maintenance renewal to an existing License?
Hi SNOW Community,

I have a rather simple question.

What is the correct way to add a maintenance renewal to an existing license? I suggest that this needs to be done under TAP "maintenance and Support" rahter then creating an new Entry that can then in a second Step be linked to the initial License.

  Hello @faaven ,
  yes, when the license count is still the same, we recommend to add the maintenance renewal term and costs in the "Maintenance and support" tab under "maintenance costs" to get a history of the costs and to minimize the number of License IDs.
  Only you do an license extension plus maintenance we would create a separate License ID for the additional licenses+maintenance to keep the history.

Active Directory Discovery - Forests, Domains and Sub-Domains
Anyone else seeing this in Inventory.

When configuring the Active Directory discovery module either in the SMACC as per the documentation or via the admin tool now on gateway servers the LDAP lookup will only do the following:

a) Lookup the domain first in the list to discover - any additional domains added just get ignored and no errors logged in the logs to say why.

b) If a root domain is the first and only one in the list the LDAP lookup fails to take in to account any sub-domains off the root domain. Suggesting the LDAP looking is not talking to the Global Catalog for it's information.

Are people getting around these easily resolved in 'app code' LDAP issues by having to put gateway servers in any and all sub domains where discovery is needed?

I've got an open ticket with Support but it's been open for months with no progress. Even with it affect Atlas Extenders too.
