I've been looking everywhere and must be missing something. How do I make it so the installer does not show the CustomerInformation dialog box? I have added my own box that has more pertinent information displaying right after it, but I can't figure out how to change the sequence to remove the Customer Information box. Thanks.

Just make a pre-requisite (Tools menu > Prerequisite Editor). Then add your condition to the condition tab (such as looking for a system registry entry), and then in the "Files to Include" tab, select the .exe file you want to run. Then in the "Application to Run" tab, select the application you want to run, and you can enter the command line parameters under it. Hope that helps!

I'm learning how to do pre-requisites myself so I'm not sure if this information is correct, but can't you just run the EXE file directly? For example, when I install .NET Framework using a pre-req, in Application to Run i just pick the actual dotnetfx.exe file and put: /q:a /c:"install /q" for the command line so it's silent.

Forgive me if this has already been answered, but I have searched both the internet and here, and haven't found something that works. I have a basic MSI project, and have an InstallScript that I have run after the InstallFinalize event. This works fine. However, my problem is that this script runs both during installs and uninstalls. What is the if(..) statement to only have it run during installs? I've tried REMOVEALLMODE=0, but that did not seem to work. Thanks!

Does anyone have a non-workaround for this? I have the same problem with the 30-45 second delay (on a Core 2 Duo nevertheless) so I know the computer is not "slow" or anything). It'd be nice to have a "Please Wait" or some sort of messagebox appear while it's doing it's thing. Anyone?

Forgive me for what seems to be a stupid question, but I have searched both here and other places, and can't seem to find it. I have a basic MSI project that installs files and then calls some InstallScripts, which accesses some files I have placed in the "Support Files" section. Now when I go to build the release, I want to build a single file that I can distribute, including the support files. Right now I can only get the "setup.exe" file to include the files in my Program Files\Product Name folder, and then it also puts the files in the Support Files folder in my distribution directory, as separate files. How can I have it create ONE file that includes everything, including support files? Thanks so much in advance - this is driving me crazy...
