Effective immediately, we are discontinuing InstallShield Lite and the product has been removed from the Visual Studio Marketplace. This post provides InstallShield Lite customers information on how this change impacts them and offers guidance on how to move forward.
What does InstallShield Lite being discontinued mean? InstallShield Lite being discontinued means no future versions will be released. It also means, the current version of InstallShield Lite will no longer be available for download.
What does this mean for existing InstallShield Lite customers? InstallShield Lite customers can continue using the current version of InstallShield Lite that they have. However, as there will be no updates to InstallShield Lite, any product or version compatibility issues identified, will not be addressed.
