unchecking prerequisites don't work for me
hi,
i am using some prerequisites in my basic-msi and now i tried to uncheck one.
when i now build my project the uncheckd prerequisite is also built...?
so i renamed the prq-file and while building my project an error appears..
what can i do to get rid of some of my prerequisites?
is there a way to edit the ism-file?

Hi,
Look at the ISFeatureSetupPrerequisites and ISSetupPrerequisites table in the Direct Editor view and make sure that the entry for the concerned prerequisite is not present there.
Thanks,
Alpesh

hi alpesh,
... well ... exactly that's my problem - there is no entry which refers to the unchecked prereq.
could it possibly have something to do with IS Upgrades - i began with is2009, went to is2010, then to the service release and had alway to convert my project...?
