total newbie installshield 2010 question, test user interface

the test interface button on the menu is grayed out and the test option on the release menu is not shown, how can I set up installshield 2010 to provide this ability?

It depends on your project type; I believe only MSI (Windows Installer) projects support that test mode, and not InstallScript projects.
