start service, vista
Hello,
I'm using Installshield 2008 Basic MSI.
My setup installs and starts a service. The service is started in a Commit CA using the ServiceStartService command.
Problem: Running the setup on Windows Vista, the service could not be started unless UAC (user account control) is deactivated. I know that starting a service using a components "start NT service" element is possible even with activated UAC, but I must start the service at the end of the installation because otherwise the required dlls are not ready.
How can I start a service at the end of an installation under Windows Vista?
How have I to run the setup under Vista that the service would be started?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, H.

The CA that starts the service has to be executed as "Commit Execution in System Context". I had oversawn that such an option exists.
