service pack 1 update getting unspecified error
Hi,
I am new to InstallShield and using InstallShield 2012, when i install and run it for first time i get service pack 1 prompt to update.
When I update, I get "unspecified error. Please contact the software vendor or try again at a later time.
If i go through software manager i get a different error, as "script error"
An error has occurened in the script on this page.
line: 275
char: 7
error: unable to set property 'display' of undefined or null reference
code: 0
url: ...
If i press yes, it doesn't show any update, so i am not able to upgrade to sp1.
Attached the screenshot of the error.
Thanks,
raja

I'm not sure why you are encountering that error. In any case, the Read Me First thread in this forum has a link to the KB article that explains how to obtain the SP1 download:
http://support.installshield.com/kb/view.asp?articleid=Q201298
I hope that helps.

Thanks, works like a charm - hopefully this error will not create any other problem in other usage of the software.
