select project type
Hi,
I am using InstallShield 2009 prime edition.
I try to create a installShield project, which will allow me to
1)creat web project, configure web configure file, and configure IIS security.
and
2) create the SQL server database associated with the web application.
Could you please tell me which project type I should use?
( I tried type web project, it allow set up web project, but NOT SQL database) is there any project type I could set up all together?
Thanks,
Jennifer

A web project is a Basic MSI project with some additional settings for IIS; that type should support SQL functionality, which you'll find in the Server Configuration view group.

Thanks for reply.
Is there way to pompt user to enter the database name and virual directory name?
How could I modify the web.config file based on the user's input?
is there any web project sample/tutorial available?
Thanks again.
