reinstalling a referenced assembly does not work?

Hello,

I am wondering if someone can offer a solution to this problem. When I add as assembly reference to my project and then build and install it on my system, I am not able to reinstall (in case I need to put the same files back down on the system in the event I deleted them, etc).

The docs say that if a required assembly is already located (via the registry) in the location it expects it to be, it will not allow it to be installed again. There seems to be no workaround for this in order to force the assembly to install overtop of itself a second time.

Is there a way to get this to work so that the referenced assembly can be reinstalled?

There is a work for this to make it work as I describe above. This wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.
