"Installshield 2011 with Hotfix A" won't unistall
So was trying out the demo of the newest installshield for my new company and when I went to uninstall it from my Windows 7 machine...I get an error.
A windows installer prompt comes up and says: "Error opening installation log file. Verify that the specified log file location exists and is writable."
I don't have a lot of time to play mysterious message...does anyone know what log file and where they are talking about. Please note that I just did a typical install of Installshield.
I know this could be caused by numerous possible environmental reasons...but I gotta say this is a little ironic.

This is an issue with Windows 7 confirmed by Microsoft:
“Error opening installation log file. Verify that the specified location exists and is writable.” error when attempting to uninstall an application
The work around suggested by the KB article is to kill and restart explorer.exe.
