"Error Deleting Record"

Hi there, trying to delete two files that were added directly to under the Files and Folder section under application data. They are not part of a component.

When I attempt to delete them I get the error "6: Error deleting record" and that's it. I cannot delete the files.

Any suggestions how I can get around this?

If nothing else, can you open the File table in the Direct Editor view and delete the records there?

(As an aside, any file to be installed is included in a component, even if the Files and Folders view doesn't display components.)

Just to follow up, it was some internal error in InstallShield. I restarted the app and the item I was trying to delete was mysteriously gone :rolleyes:
