patch
Hello
Can anybody tell me what is the better form to do this? I have an installation, and I need to patch 2 files. I'm tryring to make a minor upgrade, but it is still not working. I select the executable that I'm going to patch, I create a component with the files, and when I run the setup, the following message appears:
A later version of "parc" is already installed on this machine. The setup cannot continue
Have I to change any GUID?
Thanks

The following help topic has a table that shows what needs to change for each type of upgrade:
Major Upgrade vs. Minor Upgrade vs. Small Update
For a minor upgrade, you'll need to change the package code (which InstallShield does by default every time you build) and the product version.
