patch shortcuts
Hi folks,
I want desktop/start menu shortcuts to be replaced by the QuickPatch (Update.exe), since the shortcuts contain the product version, which is changing. However the target files are not being replaced.
My patch adds the new shortcuts but leaves old ones. I don't think there is a point in authoring the 'RemoveFile' table for shortcuts, right?
Any advice?
Regards / Horia
PS. Using IS 2009 Pro.

Hi Horia,
Seems like there's no other choice than authoring the RemoveFile table, you need to delete the .lnk files corresponding to your shortcut.
