pack an aditional setup on the Target disk
Hello
I'm new to creating setup solutions so please be patient with my novice question.
I need add to the generated disk an aditional setup to run as a custom step.
I did not find a way to add another file tat will be in the disk Image but will not get installed on the target computer.
please advice.
thanks

Hi,
I am currently looking into this requirement.
I should have further updates at the earliest.
Thanks,
Madu

Hi,
Your requirement can be met by a feature known as Support/Setup Files where these Setup files (also known as support files) are available on the target system only during your application’s installation process. Support files are copied to a temporary directory on the target system when installation begins, and they are deleted when the installation is complete.
This feature is supported by InstallShield Premier,Professional and Express Edition.
Thanks,
Madu
