netsh or Firewallhelper
I need to add entries to the firewall for my application, as far as I can tell I have 2 main options.
What would be best practice?
Has anyone got any 'for' and 'against' comments? I'd like to hear them!
Other options?
Regards
Neil

Never heard about 'Firewallhelper' but we are using netsh successfully.

FirewallHelper.dll was written by Microsoft I believe to help the companies that write PC games.
I decided to go with netsh, just which I could stop the dos style window flashing on the screen.
