I have created a patch and able to install it. But i am not able to uninstall patch either through Add/remove in Control panel or using remove option in maintanance mode.

yes Vijay I have done that. I would like to add one more thing is tht If i i install patches multiple time it wont go maintainance mode as we see in MSI installer. I am using Patch design view to create patches.& am using installshield12.0
You cannot just uninstall patch by going into the Maintenance mode. To uninstall the patch, you will have to uninstall from Add/Remove Programs Panel or from the command line. Also make sure that you are not entries in any of the tables mentioned here in this article --> http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa372102(v=VS.85).aspx.
