issue for upgrade

I have two produncts, both of them used installshield 2008 to package, productA has a NT service running all the time, this NT service load some library of productB. if you want upgrade productB, it can not work well. Is there a way to upgrade productB sucessfully without stoping productA NT service.

the files will be locked as long as the service is using them. so without a reboot or stopping the service before hand it will not work.

yes, I know that some dll lock when service running, but in one case, the Outlook, Word , Excel are opening, it still could install some Microsoft Office service pack in the same time,just ask user reboot machine after installation finish. Is there a way to do that???
