installation in folders already existing
how would you deal with installations to folders which already exist?
i have following situation:
in our setup it is possible to install database and files on the same machine or database on server1 and files on server2 (... you are encouraged to do so ...).
the setup doesn't prevent you to install only the database component on server1 and the file component from server2 to server2. (launching 2 times setup.exe)
now - assuming the last example - when someone installs from server1 database AND files, the files on server2 aren't overridden.
any ideas how i can handle this properly?
