include/exclude filter does not show up on "add folder"
Hi,
When we add folders to application data, a filter to include or exclude files appear. Well it is not prompting anymore. Can you please explain how to enable it again.
Thanks in advance ... :

I think you're talking about the dialog box for using dynamic file links. That dialog box has a "Don't display this message again" check box. I have a feeling that the last time you got this prompt, you selected that check box.
If you want to see that dialog box again, rename or remove the PromptTryDFL value from the registry. The location is something like HKCU\Software\InstallShield\16.0\Professional\Project Settings.
I hope that helps.

Hi Debbie,
Thanks a lot, it worked.
Was curious is there a way to enable dynamic file linking for whole feature rather than folders
Thanks,
Jitender

Hi Debbie,
Also, it will be a great feature to select multiple folders, like its there for selecting multiple files for a particular feature. Thanks .. 🙂
