Please let me know how to upgrade to installshield 2010 from installshield 12.

Have you looked at the Read Me First post at the top of this community forum? Here's a link:

That thread has posts to things like the release notes, plus KB Q200330 ("Upgrading Projects to InstallShield 2010"). Since you're upgrading from InstallShield 12, you'll also want to check some of the links at the bottom of that first post: "Upgrading Projects from InstallShield 2008 or Earlier" and "Upgrading Projects from InstallShield 12 or Earlier."
