I have a window service msi and i have installed it on my system using installshield. I have done following steps: 1. Created new component for a service (in Organisation-> Components) 2. Set the path to the msi location. 3. Set the Control NT Service property (in component -> Advance Settings). 3. build the project and install it.
my service gets install but I am not able to start the service.
Please provide adequate help for the same. Thanks in advance..
Maybe you can try ServiceAddService and ServiceStartService in the InstallScript, create Custom Action to call you InstallScript function then insert to Execute sequences.
