My first question would be what is the GUID for? Are you talking for the install package? the upgrade code GUID? the product code GUID?
There's an easy way to update the package GUID every time you build a package, but is that even what you're asking?

I've had to write a random number custom action once for use with Microsoft Office Per-User Registry replication patterns. A guid would have been the ultimate random number.
You'll need a custom action to generate guid. You'd have to pick the language of the CA before an answer could be given.
