i am using installshield 2013 free edition, i have passed the folder "express" and all its contents somewhere else. i cannot complete the installer as i get "error 1309. error reading from file" "verify that the file exists and that you can access it.
works fine if i run it from the folder that is part of the visual studio solution, if i move it or pass it on, i get the error, so the installer is not very useful.
Is the install built as a compressed or uncompressed setup? If uncompressed, did you move the source files(most likely in subfolders) at the same level of the Setup.exe file to the new location as well?
