about xml file update problem in patch using patch design view.

when i design patch package ,i cannot change xml file(add node) using patch design view.
e.g.
config.xml file

127.0.0.1

ch
if i want to change the file to next content in patch

127.0.0.1
9001


if i do not use xml file changes function of installshield in major package,just replace the sourcee file can change the fiile in patch package.


but in the major package i use xml file changes function for receving servername in UI.
so i cannot change xml file content in the patch package.



now i just want to add node in xml file,and i set condition "Patch" on about xml custom action,but xml file cannot add node(no change),
what i do?
