:confused: hello . i build an installscript project . when i set the property "maintenance experience " of project in the install designer view as "NO install or maintenance" ,the project always install with no uninstall or maintenance.
i debug the code of event OnShowUI() step by step. i found that the system variable "UPDATEMODE" and "MAINTENANCE" is FALSE. i curious that which system variable that show the project states is TRUE
UPDATEMODE and MAINTENANCE will always be FALSE if the "no maintenance or uninstall" option was selected. This is because the project does not register an uninstall key for Add/Remove Programs or create an InstallScript log in C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information\{Product Code} when this option is set.
