Wizard trying to download from Microsoft but link not working
Hi All,
A wizard for an application I'm installing is trying to download from Microsoft website but the link appears no more working. It's blocking my installation, I can't skip.
Any suggestion about how I can fix this?
Thanks,
Federico

Hi @federico,
Looks like the Microsoft download link is broken, if you are the author of this installer you can change the existing link to a new one, and then recreate the installer.
The new Microsoft link :

You can use the prerequisite editor in Installshield to edit the link to a correct one and then rebuild the installer.
The prerequisite looks to be for C++ 2008 SP1 which is pretty old now. It's possible that Microsoft does not provide a link for this version anymore - in that case it may be best to remove the prerequisite completely from your project and then rebuild the installer without it.

Why do I require the prerequisite to be downloaded if it is included in the setup.exe? The program needs this prerequisite for the Crystal Reports component to function properly.
