Win7 Compatibility with no Add / Remove entry
I have an install which intentionally deletes the program from appearing in the Add / Remove window.
Every time this install is run, the compatibility wizard returns identifying that the program may not have installed correctly, which it definitely did. I'm fairly certain the compatibility issues are related to the deleted Add / Remove entry.
Is there a way to bypass this behavior and instruct Win7 not to show that message?

I think the PCA can be disabled by a manifest entry - do you have SP1 and/or the manifest changes described in KB article Q205850? That said, it's probably better to hide the entry by setting ARPSYSTEMCOMPONENT or adding the SystemComponent value to the uninstall key than to delete it entirely.
