Why does my SQL login dialog only throw an error sometimes?
I have a SQL Login dialog which was copied from another using this techique: http://community.flexerasoftware.com/showthread.php?t=171252&highlight=sqlbrowse. The first time the dialog loads, if I don't enter any login/db information the next button loads the next dialog no questions asked. However, if I go back to the dialog, and then try to proceed without entering any info, I get an error. But, even then it allows me to continue after acknowledging the error. What is causing this?
I have noticed that the old & new SQL Login dialogs (I use both) are strangely tied together. For example, if I change the default text on the catalog textbox on one, it gets changed on the other. Could that have something to do with it?
