Verbose log file contents
hi ,
I see this following entry in the log file (which was generated during uninstallation)
Disallowing uninstallation of component: {25398ADF-E7F4-4128-ACE4-14282D4D7985} since another client exists
infact the uninstaller does not uninstall some of the components, when i did a search in the registry I could not locate any entry matching GUID listed above??
can anyone explain above entry to me and perhaps let me know where to look for it?
TIA

You have other packages installed that use that ComponentID. Realize that Windows Installer ( CodeNamed Darwin ) uses PackedGuids when storing in the registry. See:

There's also MsiEnumClients or Installer.ComponentClients to find out the product code of each project using such a component...
