I'm trying to upgrade a project that was created in InstallShield 5.5.
When installshield is run the installer does not see the old version of the product, which allows multiple installs so ideally I'd be able to list all the previous installs. I found some articles on this site that suggest that the automatic upgrading code doesn't work because the old installer wouldn't have a product GUID but i assume that people are getting round this issue in some manner.
How do people upgrade from old versions of the installer?
