Upgrade Path. What am I doing wrong?
I'm totally stuck and completely frustrated. I am working on a project for a Vista install and I am new to InstallShield 2008.
I just can't get the upgrade paths to work.
This is what I have.
Install #1
Product code 00EB....
Upgrade code: 9902...
Version 7.01.0000
I build this and run it and it installs fine
Install #2
Product code E0D...
Upgrade Code: 9902 (same as in #1)
Version 7.01.0002
In this install I added an UpgradePath that is configured as:
Upgrade code: 9902... (same as others)
Min version: 7.01.0000
Max version 7.01.0002
I build this and run it and it doesn't replace the .EXE file. When I start my product I'm running the same EXE as install #1 put on the disk. In the Control Panel I wind up with 2 entries for my software.
What is going on !! Does anyone know how to get this to work?

Just as a quick sanity check: Is the Include Min Version field for the upgrade path set to Yes? That's the default value. In your scenario, it sounds like that's the value you'd need.

Yes, it is set.
