Update of SetupProgress dialog with ActionText in commit execution
Hi,
I am working on a Basic MSI project with IS 2010.
I am trying to update the SetupProgress dialog to show which custom action is being executed.
I have managed to do it for custom actions scheduled for deferred execution, by following the procedure described in this thread.
But the text does not appear if the custom action is scheduled for commit execution.
Is it possible at all?
Any idea how to do it?
Regards

If you are talking about changing the "Removing backup files" text, my understanding is that all commit actions use the same ActionText described by the action RollbackCleanup in the ActionText table (which you can change), but that you cannot have individual Commit actions each with their own ActionText text.

Hi Dan,
Thank you for your answer.
It is indeed what I could observe.
As I did not find this information anywhere, I was just wondering if it was feasible.
