Uninstalling doesn't put back on old files
I am new to install shield and have a question.
I have an in-house custom application that we update in pieces (replace an exe or two and a handful of dll's). I can get the files to install overwriting the current ones without an issue as we have newer version numbers on them, but when I go to uninstall the application for instance it doesn't touch any of those files and leaves them in place. I would like to have it put back on the old files (which I still have access to if the application won't do this automatically). All of the component properties are set to default and these dll's are not being registered per the developers.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Dwight

The only built-in functionality for this type of an install would be to create uninstallable patches
