Uninstalling Previous Version of Software?

How would I go about adding the uninstall of the previous version of my software from the target system to my my MSI project?

It can obviously be done through the Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel, obviously, but I would like InstallShield to handle it as part of the install. I want to remove the old version before I install the new one to give the target system a very clean install.

Your previous version of your software was installed with the MSI engine?

Have you looked for a major upgrade?

you can go for a major upgrade and choose the option to uninstall the older version and then install the newer version.
