Uninstall and re Install application

Hi Guys,
I have requirement of uninstalling the older version from the system and installing the newer version, if the user tries to install the newer version installer on the system. I am using project type as Basic Msi and we are using Install schield 2008 express edition. can you guys guide me how to achive this.
