Two versions of IS installed, and wish to uninstall one of them

Hello,

I have IS 2008 and 2009 installed on my build/dev machine, and wish to uninstall the former to free up some disk space.

My installation projects have been upgraded to 2009, so is there any harm in removing 2008? (There's no longer a \Program Files\InstallShield\2008 folder, though it does have an entry in ARP.) I don't want to remove any shared files in so doing.

Thanks for any advice...

I have installed both IS 2008 and 2009 on my machine, later i uninstalled IS 2008, and it did not affected IS 2009 functionality.
