Transform Template
I have a series of properties and a feature that I include in every package that i create.
My .ism containing these items works great for legacy repackaging in Adminstudio 8.6 using the repackaging tool. But figuring out how to create a default transform that contains these items to be included every time that i tune an MSI with the tuner tool or Installshield Editor 2008 (my prefered tool) is proving to be elusive.
The only lead I have is to create a blank MSI, create an MSI with my items, and generate a transform based on the differences. But I get errors when trying to use this resultant transform with other MSI's (im assuming because it's tied to a prodcut guid) but I do not know of a tool to make it generic.
Anyone have any guidance?

As for making a generic transform, please see [thread=183019]this thread[/thread].
