Strange Uninstall Issue - Folders Left Behind.
Hey everyone,
I have a strange problem and I don't know where to begin to start to resolve it.
I have an install that is done as an Installscript MSI that contains 2 components, and I have a Second Install that is a basic MSI project that again has 2 components.
If I install application A with both components and application B with of its components, and then uninstall application B, There are folders left behind.
NOW if I install application A with only the core component and install application B with both components, application B uninstalls cleanly.
Any thoughts on what to look at first on sorting this out?
Thanks

FYI: The MSI Project was done using Static Links, which is a No-No. When I convert from Dynamic to Static.. all is well...
