Stopping Build process after clicking in the UI ..?

1) Start the "Build process"
2) Click into the UI
3) The whole UI gets frozen so that the end of the "Build" must be awaited!

Is there any way to cancel the "Build process" ratter than using the Task-Manager?!

Perhaps try Ctrl+Break (corresponding to Build > Stop Build)?
