Start > Programs menu shortcuts will not uninstall
Hello All,
In upgrading our installations from IS 6.21 (pure InstallScript) to IS 2009 (InstallScript MSI), I've found that the Start menu shortcuts that are installed are not being uninstalled upon Remove. In the old version, there was an Uninstall flag in the Shortcut properties that could be set to Yes|No--nice and simple. No such luck with the newer version, and it mystifies me as to why this is no longer an option. (Hello Macrovision/Acresso?)
But setting that aside, how can I accomplish this?
Thanks very much...

How were the shortcuts created? Does creating an MSI log file during uninstallation give any more information?
(For the original question: I think InstallScript MSI projects use MSI-style shortcut properties, which is why "Uninstall" is not there; pure InstallScript projects still use it.)
