Stand alone build support for IS2009 and IS2010
We are using IS 2009 Premier.
I have the stand alone build support module installed on our build server. Due to the issues IS2009 has with correctly creating virtual directories on IIS7, i would like to use the stand alone build support from IS2010 (which we also have but have not started using yet).
My questions are:
- does the IS2010 version build IS2009 project (.ism) files? Or do the .ism files need to be converted?
- If the IS2010 version doesn't build IS2009 files, can the two versions be installed side by side?
We have a number of products built using IS2009, so installing IS2010 on the build machine and testing all the resulting builds takes a reasonable amount of time and effort, so it is something we need to plan for.
Thanks for any answers!

IS2010 will build IS2009 projects, but they will be converted to the IS2010 schema first. Fortunately, IS2010 makes a backup copy of your IS2009 project before it does that. So you can always go back to your IS2009 project if you want to.
IS2010 and IS2009 SAB should be able to co-exist on the same machine also.
