Software Tagging Field Not Displayed For Migrated Projects

i have migrated my projects from IS2009 to IS2012.
In my general settings i am not able to find the Software tagging view.
where as if i create a new project software tagging field is listed for me.

How to achieve this for migrated projects? Also is it possible to create a unique software tag Id during installation.

What project type are you using? The software tagging feature is available only for Basic MSI projects. See the Including a Software Identification Tag for Your Product help topic for more information.
