SignTool error 7170
If I build the install within VS2005 I get the error
-7170 : NSS Security Tools signtool.exe was not found in C:\Program Files\Macrovision\IS 2008 Express\Support. Please download this from ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/ and rebuild your setup. Double click here to see more information on error: -7170
If you goto the link nothing is there.
I have found that if I run the build outside VS2005 - in other words open the install project from Installshield it does not generate this error.

If you need to sign your setup for Netscape, look at the post:
http://community.installshield.com/s...d.php?t=175288
However, if you do not need to sign your setup for Netscape, turn off that release option and the error should go away. If you need more details on this let me know.

What project type are you using?
Please try this: In the Releases view, click the release that you are building, and then click the Internet tab.
What option is selected for the Browsers to Support field (for a Basic MSI or InstallScript MSI project) or the Netscape Support field (for an InstallScript project)?
Thanks,
Debbie Landers
