Sign the software identity tag file?
Regarding the software identity tag, I see this help document https://docs.flexera.com/isxhelp24/helplibrary/SWIDOverview.htm . It said "If you configure your project to include a software identification tag and you also configure the release in the Releases view to use a .pfx file to digitally sign your release, InstallShield digitally signs the tag at build time.".
Currently I am using a certificate store instead of .pfx file. And it seems that the tag file installed is NOT signed.
Therefore, is there a way to sign the tag file even I do not have the .pfx file?
I check the log, and find the following lines:
Successfully signed swidtag 'xxx.swidtag'
However, I check the swidtag file under the installation directory and see its property, but cannot find any digital certificate information. Why?
